Cason’s in USA are usually large stores divided into sectors. In each sector there are products of known brands from categories such as clothing, footwear, purses and accessories, jewelry, cosmetics, toys and even furniture.

When walking through the three floors of Carston’s in Chicago, the Customer is tempted by exclusive chocolates of Godiva company. The company presents their assortment in an aesthetic way on several types of stands.

This is definitely a great example of using the extra space in a store and simultaneously a type of cross marketing. While shopping for items not related to grocery there is a large chance that under the influence of the impulse the Consumer will also buy a pack of chocolates.
